The India\u2013Taipei Association (ITA), in collaboration with the Department of Investment Promotion, Ministry of Economic Affairs, and the Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI), jointly hosted the Taiwan\u2013India Investment Strategic Partnership Forum on May 21 in Taipei.\nThe event marked the largest-ever Indian state government delegation to visit Taiwan, promoting the theme of \u201cInvest in India Now\u201d and highlighting the start of India\u2019s Golden Decade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to an ITA press release issued on May 21, Dr. Manharsinh Laxman Yadav, Director-General of the ITA, delivered a keynote speech emphasizing the significance of this milestone visit.\nThe delegation included senior representatives from several of India\u2019s fastest-growing and most dynamic states, symbolizing a new era of strengthened Taiwan\u2013India economic relations and mutually beneficial cooperation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to an ITA press release issued on May 21, Dr. Manharsinh Laxman Yadav, Director-General of the ITA, delivered a keynote speech emphasizing the significance of this milestone visit.\nThe delegation included senior representatives from several of India\u2019s fastest-growing and most dynamic states, symbolizing a new era of strengthened Taiwan\u2013India economic relations and mutually beneficial cooperation.He also mentioned that Allegiance Group (\u5fe0\u5be6\u96c6\u5718) plans to establish six international technology parks (ITIP) in India, further supporting industrial collaboration between the two nations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Representatives from four major Indian states presented their respective investment strengths and opportunities:\n\nTamil Nadu \u2013 a key hub for Taiwanese manufacturers;\n\nAndhra Pradesh \u2013 strategically located near Chennai, India\u2019s major industrial city;\n\nTelangana \u2013 home to Hyderabad, a leading center for R&D and innovation;\n\nKarnataka \u2013 known as India\u2019s Silicon Valley.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The forum attracted a large number of Taiwanese corporate delegates, who engaged in one-on-one business meetings, in-depth discussions, and market analyses. Participants showed strong interest in India\u2019s growing potential across electronics, electric vehicles, information technology, and artificial intelligence (AI) sectors \u2014 laying a solid foundation for future collaborations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
